Again, I am no computer expert and I REALLY hope it's not possible to scramble an IP address to make it appear as if you are coming from somewhere you aren't (he seems to have a lot of computer knowledge what with the comment he made about the IP address of one of the girls he dated and being able to trace her by it).

Just seems VERY ODD that someone from Croatia would be posting on DCUM. I hope he is not here and I hope he gets the help he needs wherever he is before he hurts someone!

It is trivial to use a proxy server to disguise your address. It is almost as trivial to use the Tor network to disguise your address. It is less trivial, but also possible, to use a VPN to disguise your address. But, I'm fairly confident that this poster is not doing any of those things.

The OP of the thread posted a link to his blog. His stats probably showed a lot of traffic being referred by DCUM. Hence, he made his appearance here. If you have visited his blog, he probably knows your IP address.

The guy appears to be getting stressed out about the criticism he is receiving. It's also pretty late in Croatia. So, he is probably on a pretty thin edge at the moment.

I mean, is the OP of the thread actually the poster who is the author of the blog. In other words, did he pretend to "stumble upon" his own blog and then claim to be freaked out about it to generate discussion and hits?
