OP here. Thanks for the responses. I use one packet of Splenda in my 1 cup of coffee per day. I was using a teaspoon of raw agave but even though it's low glycemic I felt that it had too many grams of carbs/sugar in it.
I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years so I'm not about to change that but I am starting to incorporate more fish into my diet. I had a lot of success eating low carb/ south beach about 10 years ago but that was also when I first went on synthroid so I don't know if it was the diet or synthroid that was working for me. I will definitely check out the thyroid info you have provided.
Orangetheory is half HIIT and half strength training while wearing a heart monitor. I burn between 450-500 calories per class. I am definitely going to start lifting more. Any ideas for what equipment I can get to use at home?
