Are you serious? I've been there for a neighborhood party. It's a beautiful home, gorgeous yard with lots of care to bring in native plants, fantastic back porch...I love old wood work and restoration rather than year downs, though, so if you're more into a modern look it won't be for you.

We're very sorry to see the current people leave, but hope to get another nice family to join the neighborhood. There are some sketchy parts of Brookland but I would not say this is one of them.

Yes, I am, and we love older homes. That one looks dark and old-fashioned , or the victim of photographer malpractice. I've never seen it IRL.

Did you catch the dining room fireplace? What is in it?

I am not one to criticize, but that wonderful back porch does not compensate for the kitchen. Paint may be able to take care of it, but a real jumble.

Agree with some others - appreciate the restoration of the wood trim, but can be overwhelming.

This house is so dang busy. Too much. Solariam is awesome, but what a jumble.

The link says 2 full baths.

In the picture, however it looks like the downstairs bath is only a half. Even if it's not, it's kind of wasted downstairs when all the bedrooms are up.

OP, I think it's great with tons of potential. Neighborhood is shaky though (I say this as someone who lives in the 'hood).

I think the wood is overdone and the price is too high, especially for a house with only one full bath. But I guess some people will like this because the old details will be preserved.
