Are you serious? I've been there for a neighborhood party. It's a beautiful home, gorgeous yard with lots of care to bring in native plants, fantastic back porch...I love old wood work and restoration rather than year downs, though, so if you're more into a modern look it won't be for you.
We're very sorry to see the current people leave, but hope to get another nice family to join the neighborhood. There are some sketchy parts of Brookland but I would not say this is one of them.

I am not one to criticize, but that wonderful back porch does not compensate for the kitchen. Paint may be able to take care of it, but a real jumble.
Agree with some others - appreciate the restoration of the wood trim, but can be overwhelming.
