Leave a container of Clorox or Lysol wipes next to the toilet and make sure there is a small garbage can there too to throw them out. Then he can wipe things down in 10 seconds right after he uses the bathroom.

I would add that issues with aiming the stream warant a visit to a urologist. My middle brother had these problems our entire childhood. At age 16, he was diagnosed with an issue that I don't fully understand, but it was 100% correctable with surgery which he didn't want to get. My mother backed him up. For me, it was a nightmare since we shared a bathroom until I moved out.

LOL. Too funny. OP, why not just keep a package of baby wipes right by the bowl and tell him to give the front of the bowl and the floor a quick swipe each time he pees? He can just throw it in the trash can afterwards.

I thought you were going to be posting about your DS!!! I have a similar problem with my 5 year old. DH manages to keep it in the toilet. LOL! I use Clorox wipes daily.

Adults don't pee on the floor. It's unsanitary. It's childish and disrespectful of him to expect you to clean up his pee as if he was a toddler being potty trained.

No rugs. Your husband has to clean up after himself. If that requires him using paper towels and cleaning spray every time, then so be it. Go through it with him a couple of times and then it's his responsibility. Grown ups know that leaving pee around is disgusting. If he gets tired of cleaning up, then as PP said he can always start peeing sitting down. Lots of guys do it (check the DCUM archives).

Give him spay cleaner and paper towels.

I love my husband. He's kind of a messy pee-er. He does his best to clean up after himself, but it's just kinda gross there in front of the toilet.

Is the only solution to just use cleaner and paper towels to clean up a few times a day? That, or one of those disgusting toilet rugs? (I LOATHE those rugs. Husband wants to get one; I put my foot down - but not onto a piss-soaked rug.)
