Agree with Tana French and Michael Connelly. You might also try John Sandford.

Yes, I did. I must admit, that was John Grisham's best work ever.

I was sucked in from the first page to the last. I couldn't put that darn book down. I didn't want to eat, shower, sleep or go to work until I finished that damn book!

And let me tell you firsthand...The ending was superb. <------ No worries, I won't give away any spoilers. I'll just say one thing...No one will finish this book disappointed. No one.

Richard North Patterson and Lisa Scottoline both write really good legal thrillers.

Have you read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil?

Not quite as gripping, but same Southern feel. And it's true.

I also like John Grisham books, but not for the South.

I like the legal thrill part of his stories. How his characters use the law and twist it to their advantage.

Does anyone know of any other LEGAL thrillers similar to his?

Much appreciated in advance.

I also like Grisham and read Michael Connelly. Start with the first and read in order his harry Bosch detective is great. His best stand aloe is The Poet. Books generally take place in Los Angeles.

For a good read about the south, I recommend Cold Sassy Tree.

For a great detective series, I recommend the Inspector Frost series:

So, so fun.

I realize this is appalling to those of you who read to increase intelligence, but there you have it.

I've always loved his books. I love books written about the south. I love law&order/mystery/detective plots.

I need a beach read and I've read all the Grisham books.
