Too bad it never occurred to him to go to school, get a degree, a real job, etc. Wasn't his dad a prominent lawyer or something? And none of the kids have a degree? Pathetic.

He needs to go to the gym. Work on his body, move around a bit and stop eating everything. I'm sure he has money for a gym membership or a trainer. He could also benefit from counseling/ therapy.

I feel bad for him. It does have to be really hard being in that family, and I feel bad for Bruce as well. Both Rob and Bruce didn't seem that into the limelight and fame, but kind of along for the ride. Now they're both so public, and they don't have a choice.

I don't think Rob gained weight on purpose (for a publicity deal, or to get lapband or something). He's been extremely private for over a year, deleting all his social media, not appearing much on the reality shows. Something about him just seems so sad. He used to be a major cocky ass, but sometimes people overdo it to compensate for deep insecurities - maybe he's dealing with that now. Hope he gets better.

I feel sorry for the fellow.

I remember one episode where he was in therapy w/his mother and sisters and he just broke down crying, talking about how bad he felt living in their shadow.

I think he probably feels depressed because he has these five beautiful and successful sisters who make money just by sheer luck and it's harder for him because he is a guy. I know he had a sock collection and modeled underwear, but other than that, I don't know what other work he has done. His sisters on the other hand have a huge empire of clothing lines, perfume lines, nail polish lines, cosmetic lines, skin care lines, etc. They have the Midas touch, everything they touch turns to instant gold.

Rob used to be quite fit and good-looking. He used to get some pretty hot girls back then. He also used to have a big ego too. Look at some of the old episodes of "Keeping Up W/the Kardashians." Now he is more subdued and humble. I guess because of his weight.

Maybe he went on anti-depressants which make people gain a huge amount of weight. Or perhaps he is just depressed and lacks the motivation to work out at the gym.

He is in his late 20's and as you age, your metabolism slows down.

This sounds mean but I know someone who gained an extra 30-40 lbs to qualify for some type of weight loss surgery...he could also likely make $ by becoming a spokesperson for a weight loss program.Of course he'd have to lose weight then! My money's on surgery.

Poor Rob. I agree with the PP that said because he isn't making money for his mother - despite all her attempts to market him to the public a la Dancing with the Stars, etc - he's been tossed aside. That's got to hurt. Add that rejection to the public one and the personal one (he was dating Rita Oro and she dumped him) = weight gain/depression. I feel really bad for him.

My initial thought was "Why is Rob Kardashian with Victoria Beckham?" - Kris looks too skinny.
