The St. Honore. What a confection!

Also, petit fours.

OP here -- unfortunately they were out of the apple almond strudel. I got some pretzel buns for my DH, some cookies, an apple raisin strudel, and croissants.

The chocolate chip cookie was by far the best I've had in a very very long time -- not too sickeningly sweet like the majority of baked goods.

The have "must haves?" I guess if you like almond paste . I was so disappointed that they didn't use cream cheese frosting on their carrot cake that I never went back. This was many years ago.

Are you a European bakery fan? If so, this is the place.
If not, don't bother.

Oh yes. I wept when I was in Paris in February. It baffles the mind that we don't have similar bakeries on every corner here.

Keep in mind that this bakery is not French but German.

I understand that, thanks.

I have never been. Will be near there this afternoon and thought I would stop by for some lunch, and some baked goods to take home.

Recommendations please!
