I tried it a while back and wasn't happy. They didn't have books I wanted to read. I wonder if it's changed?

btw this is my dream app. I read sooo much, hate the libraries here, don't want to keep buying books constantly or deal with the clutter of books.

I like the iPad mini, which is slightly bigger than my Nook and, from what I've seen, a little bigger than the Kindle. A word of warning: I find that looking at the iPad screen right before bed keeps me awake, so I use the Nook "glow" function to read right before bed. YMMV.


It's the blue part of the light spectrum that computer screens use. It stimulates a certain part of the brain and makes it difficult to fall asleep. MRIs have shown this.

I'm curious, too. I've also heard about a very similar service called Scribd. I'd love to hear if anybody has tried these!
