Where in NOVA is your commute downtown door to door 30 minutes during rush hour? Unless you live right on top of a metro station, I find this hard to believe. I lived in N. Arlington for a while, and it took me 30 minutes door to door to get to Gallery Place for work only because my dad picked me up at my house and dropped me off at work, and we left my house at 7:30am or earlier. If we'd have left 30 min later, it would have taken longer. If you live right on top of a metro station in NOVA, yeah, you've probably got a sweet commute. But you couldn't buy a three bedroom rowhouse or SHF there for $400K, either, so comparing that to Michigan Park is not really apples to apples.
