Try it with a shot of peach brandy sometime. Yum.

Somewhat unrelated, but I've been using frozen peaches as ice cubes lately. Yum.

Here is my recipe.

Start with 8 oz water
add 1 tea bag
let sit for 2-3 minutes
remove tea bag
add one sliced peach
blend entire mixture
add ice.

We make hot black tea, sweeten it, and then plop an entire bag of frozen peaches in it instead of ice. My partner hates it (he's obsessed with fresh fruit) and refuses to drink it. Fine, more for me. I also make a version of this with thyme leaves and frozen lemon slices.

It is liquid crack for me. Seriously, I don't want the recipe because I can only imagine how much sugar is probably in it. I have it occasionally as a treat.

It tastes to me like strong black tea mixed with peach syrup from canned peaches. Honestly it does. I like it too.

Have you done it? I haven't tried that brand but peach flavored tea does not give the same flavor--I've tried it.

Just get a peach flavored tea and put it in the fridge:

I love this stuff and make my own tea at home. Previous attempts to use a homemade peach syrup have not worked. Anyone?
