I started with a bassinet pram and snap and go and moved on to a city mini when my son got a little older. I loved the city mini but it became less convenient when we started taking public transportation more often and I needed to fold it up and carry it on to buses or whatever. So I got a Maclaren umbrella stroller. I also have a big jogging stroller which I used for a while when I didn't have child care and which I will be using again with #2.
My son sometimes walks now and I don't even bring the stroller out with me, but it's a lifesaver when we need it. I think we will use it until 3-4.
But we are urban people, we walk a ton and we don't use a car on a regular basis. After I see what life is like with two, i'll be pairing down and getting a double. I imagine I'll get rid of the snap and go, the bassinet pram and the city mini and get a double stroller instead. If I decide to get a double jogging stroller I'll get rid of my jogging stroller too.
