Do people really serve Chick-fil-a's polarizing chicken at general gatherings? I wouldn't stomp out if a huff if you served me Chick-fil-a at a party, but I would really wonder about your "lifestyle choices."

Go with Costco.

Bagels. Smoked salmon platter (onions, tomatoes, etc.). Lots of fruit. Mini muffins.

Corner bakery does catering and I think they have kid options. Otherwise, I'd vote for Chickfila or Costco.

Agree with PP, brunch would be easiest. Buy a few quiches, bagels, pastries, fruit, coffee, juice.

Otherwise a platter of sandwiches from Panera/Jimmy Johns/Wegmans etc would be nice served with chips, pasta salad, veggies, and fruit. I'd get cookies or brownies for dessert too.

Can you do a brunch-time event? If so, I would serve bagels and cream cheese, fruit, coffee, juice, etc.

a few things from costco + pot luck.
Do an e-vite and have everyone post what they are bringing.
I'm sure you are just as tired as all the other parents so share the burden of hosting.

I'm a costco pp and sort of one of there parents. We bring our own snacks, but when our kid needs to eat, we feed her what is there. And, we feed her what we're eating.

Wine, beer, cheese, bread, crackers, fruit. Get a shitton of blueberries because they are a favorite of kids that age. Crock pot of meatballs and sauce and you'll be all set.

What a terrible idea. Did you really bond with those people?

Organizing a get together for parents from birthing class. 24 people. 12 one year olds. What to feed everyone? Hate to cook. No time. I want to provide food (no pot luck).
