I don't find him particularly funny. His humor doesn't seem edgy enough to carry a show in the same vein as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I know that he's a writer for The Daily Show, but I've never laughed at any of the segments where he's in front of the camera. That says something considering that he's the "Senior Black Correspondent" and I'm black, too.

He wrote for a lot of the shows that I grew up watching in the 90s: In Living Color, The Jamie Foxx Show, The PJs, etc, so maybe it'll work. I'm not hopeful though.

He's funny, but seems low energy to host a show.

I'm sorry, Colbert is irreplaceable!
