OP here. I was told by a doctor not to pluck because you can get an infection in your nose that can go up to the brain. So I have never plucked.

What should us hairy ladies do? I am very self conscious of this. I know people are staring.

I can use the trimmer but there is noticeable stubble. Do I just say oh well, that's the best I can do?

I have had this problem since I was 12 with the nose hairs.

Wish I had advice, because I have the exact same problem OP. I've been trimming and occasionally plucking (ow!), but it seems to have gotten worse as I have hit my 40s.

OP here. There are too many to pluck. I bet I have about 50 hairs per nostril. Waxing sounds awful. What would you think of a woman who walks around with noticeable nose hairs?

The gal that waxes my lip does my nose as well. I don't find that it hurts. But I also get a Brazilian regularly so take it for what it's worth.

You actually CAN wax it; they offer it for men, but women do it as well. I think that would hurt like a bugger, so I'd pre-dose with a topical analgesia, but I'd go for it if I were you.

I have ONE giant long one that I noticed a few years ago. I tuck it back in if I notice it grow back at work... and then tweeze it out and it actually doesn't really hurt (but it's only one hair).

Yes but it leaves stubble. And the stubble is noticeable since I have brunette hair and large nostrils.

I am a woman who has noticeable nose hairs, and the nose hairs are brunette. I try to trim them but the grow very fast, and even when trimmed because of the shape of my nostrils you can still see them. What should I do? Waxing doesn't seem like a good idea.

I feel very self-conscious about this. What would you honestly think about a woman with very visible nose hairs?
