Damn. No shirtless pic, OP? you got me all excited for nothing. I'm not usually a Bradley Cooper fan - his face is a little pointy for me - but a bulked-up Bradley Cooper sounds good to me.

Tom Hanks attributes his recent Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis to the rapid gain/lose cycle he did for a lot of his films. Rapid, drastic changes to your body can do very harmful things to it - even if it's stuff like "gain muscle" or "lose fat."

Yo-yo dieting is the worst for everyone. Ruins your skin, your metabolism, is hard on your organs. Whether you choose to be big and musuclar or thin...just maintain and don't do drastic ups and downs.

It really is. I dropped 25 pounds REALLY quickly after I stopped breastfeeding (I guess my body was just hanging onto it and let it all go fast when reserves were no longer needed) and it was hell on my skin and hair. I'm only 32 but aged so much so fast from that weight loss, even if I'm at a healthy weight now for my frame.

Not a fan of the transformation for Bradley Cooper. The muscle looks really unnatural on him.

Didn't Matt Damon get sick recently because of losing a ton of weight for a role?

Christian Bale too...remember how skinny he got?!

PP--totally don't need steroids.

My DH is seriously muscular and has the body of his 20-somethign self still in his 40s.

Whenever he doesn't have time to lift weights--his body seriously shrinks and he'll drop a bunch of clothes sizes. We did a sabbatical in Europe and he wasn't doing his usual lifting and his clothes were falling off him. People were complimenting him on weight loss.

I met him when he was 24 and he has never used roids...nor would he. We are serious health nuts.

I also have the body-type that gains muscle really, really fast...that BS that women can't get bulky muscle---not true on me!!! Cross-fit, weight-lifting I start to look like a linebacker. I have to be sure to incoporate pilates, and more lengthening type workouts---long runs...so as not to have too much of a power-lifter look.

Our boys are very thick/broad. Zero fat---but they are so much wider---gigantic hands, shoulders and feet compared to other boys their age. I am so glad I don't have a daughter for this reason!

Wow, he doesn't look good. I wonder if shrinking his goods with steroids was worth it.

I think he looks hotter on the right---the non-scrawny version. I like more muscular types...Chris Hemsworth, Channing Tatum. I can't stand the Euro-skinny pants, scrawny legs, Metro-sexual look. My ass and thighs have to be bigger than my man's!
