Do any YY families know whether they added an additional 4 spots (which would be great), or whether it's just that 4 people total have declined the 5 existing spots?

My number has gone down by 4 spots from the initial list.

Because my waitlist number has gone down by 4. Look at your waitlist number and compare it to your original number.

If they were at capacity then I guess so. Families in this area are always moving so with so many accepted it would not be unreasonable to assume that some may be moving or going to another school. This would be in addition to any new families that declined. This is great news for those that stood in line.

Does this mean that PK3 is the new entry year and that there will only be seats in PK4 next year if there is attrition?

Taking 4 names of the WL would mean putting 1 extra student in each of the 4 classrooms. I can see that.

Correct that it moved 4? That is more movement than I would have expected so early, with only 5 non-sib spots.

It looks to me like the YY waitlist moved 4 spaces in PK3. However, I could be off on this--thinking that I may have thought that my waitlist # was the cell #, and that the waitlist in fact only moved 1 space. In any case, it does appear that it moved a little bit.
