Agreed!

Totally, it's so hard to "play it cool" sometimes before/after an interview. The parallels are endless - driving your friends insane dissecting every email and conversation, timing your follow up so that you're not annoying/too eager, asking your friends on the inside if they're saying anything about you. Wow.

I just turned down a perfectly fine job with a "it's not you, it's me" email.

I check my Email and look for missed calls. I think about it all day. I go back over everything I said or did or sent or thought. I am currently employed and I don't need a new job, but I'm ready for a change. I don't even care *that* much about the job I am currently waiting to hear from but, like a girl waiting to get a second phone call from a so-so first date, I'm stressed.

I'm thankful I am not also dating right now.
