The Miss District of Columbia’s Outstanding Teen Program is looking for contestants for the 2014 event. Your teenage daughter can gain valuable interview experience while adding many volunteer hours to her portfolio in addition to earning scholarship money. Please see below for more information:


The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization is a scholarship-based program offering teen girls the opportunity to earn funds for college. In just a few years, the Organization has awarded more than $5 million in college scholarships.

The Miss District of Columbia’s Outstanding Teen Program encourages positive achievement by nurturing scholastic & creative achievement, healthy living, & community involvement of the District’s youth.

Eligibility:
U.S. citizen ? Young lady between the ages of 13 and 17 ? Must not be eligible to compete in the Miss America Competition ? Legal resident or student in the District ? Be in reasonably good health to carry out the requirements of the job ? Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization ? Must select a community service platform ? Be able to meet the time commitment and responsibilities as set forth by the local title
