I bought a six pack of wild planet tuna at Costco - it was under $15, I think. I actually prefer the flavor of importer Italian tuna packed in olive oil, also available at costco and slightly cheaper per six pack.

Skipjack tuna is a smaller fish with a shorter lifespan and therefore accumulates less mercury.
Wild Planet sells skipjack tuna and I suppose other brands do as well.

Can you recommend a safe brand of canned tuna that doesn't cost a fortune, and where I can buy it? I have a hankering for tuna casserole for some reason. TIA!!
