Well I read a review in People Magazine that the book, "The Hiltons" was a good read.

So I bought it brand-new the day it came out.

It was easy to read and very interesting...It tells you how the Hilton empire began and gives you some family history regarding those majestic Hiltons. Thankfully, there was minimal Paris info.

I do not think it lived up to the hype though.

Out of five stars, I would give it 3.5.

Another good read I just finished is "Sycamore Row" by the incomparable John Grisham.

If you are a die-hard Grisham fan such as I, this is his best work yet. He does not disappoint!!

No spoiler alerts, don't worry!! This story will captivate you from the onset, meaning once you read the first page you will not be able to put the darn thing down. Cancel any plans for the weekend because nothing can compare to the thrill this book will give you. It will keep you on edge until the surprise final ending.

That's Hedly!

Men, you are about to embark on a great crusade to stamp out runaway decency in the west. Now you men will only be risking your lives, whilst I will be risking an almost certain Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor!

OP here. I had never heard of Hedy Lamarr until the first time I watched Blazing Saddles and my mom had to explain the joke to me.

I am halfway through Sophie's Choice. It is engaging and expertly written. I'm so glad I finally got around to reading it.
