The closest garden center to us is the one out in Merrifield unfortunately. They are a bit pricey, but extremely helpful. You can get some of the basic supplies for cheaper at the Home Depot across the street from it.

I would like to take my first stab at gardening with flowers or shrubs in our large front flowerbeds. I'd like to go to a store with reasonable prices and very knowledgeable staff who can help me figure out the best flowers and plants for me. TIA for any suggestions!
