we have a rug on our covered porch. No mold or dampness issues. It's an outdoor rug, has held up great and looks really nice!

We have an indoor/outdoor rug on our screened porch along with a sectional and a TV. I love it out there!

We have a rug on our screened-in porch and rugs on our covered (but not screened) porch--no issues with mold. They are indoor-outdoor rugs.

You can buy and indoor/outdoor rug, which as far as I can tell is designed for exactly this purpose. We have friends who use regular rugs on their screened-in porch, and no problems. It does make the space feel much warmer and cozier.

Do you have a rug on your screened in porch? Pros? Cons? I think might look cozy, but wonder about the practicality. I would use an outdoor rug, but still think it might mold - ? The floor under the rug is pressure treated wood.
