Subject: crossfitters: what do you do on off-days
I would do more recovery type exercises - walking, yoga, maybe some ab work.

I don't do crossfit, but I do lifting 2-3 days per week, cardio (cycling, running, walking) 3 days per week, pilates 1 day per week.

Obviously, you look for threads where you can act snarky. I don't know how that helps you be healthy, though.

I definitely get in yoga once a week. I guess I should add a pure cardio day, but they aren't my favorite.

I don't cross-fit, but I do a full-body lifting routine on the days I'm not running, and I do yoga twice a week.
I'd probably put in some cardio on the off days, and maybe some yoga. Schedule the type of cardio around how tired you are from the CF routines - so you could do a run when you're not that fatigued, and 30 minutes on the low-impact arc trainer (or on a bike) when yesterday's WOD was really hard. Yoga helps stretch you out and avoid injury.

I'm going from working out 6 days a week to going to 3 days of CF a week. I am only 3 weeks in, but I feel like i'm not quite doing all I should. I haven't started gaining weight b/c I've been at equilibrium for a year, but I think I need to do more. I don't want to add more CF b/c that increases my membership. So, what do you do? Thank you!
