(You can see last year's post on successful appeal statistics.) So are there any hidden stories not told? Poor report cards or behavioral problems? Why did your child take the WISC at the first place? Most kids take it for appeal THIS MONTH.
Agree. What was NNAT? What was CoGat (listed by sub-section)? What are report card grades? The committee is supposed to look at multiple factors when determining eligibility.
We have moved to Fairfax County and did not have the other tests done and when applied were told is better to take WISC since nothing else was in the file. No behavioral issues, report card is also good. The one from last year was submitted with all high marks. The GBRS was 8 (all 2/4) but with great comments from the teacher.
I did look at the other threats and appeal resuts from last year and was surprised to find out WISC 147 was in all cases had found eligible. Also, is there a rule to submit WISC only for appeal? Wouldn't make too much sense, but this like a pattern. Is there a reason for it?

I have already posted in the older threat but here is the copy of it. My DC has a WISC of 147, GBRS 8 found not eligible. Planning to appeal, was wondering what kind of supporting docs is recommanded.
