I would take it as well!!!! Congrats! I had a post-BC baby (got pregnant without getting a real period), and she's AMAZING!

Me, too!!!

There is a med they can give you to re-start your period (they use it with PCOS patients), but I don't think you're far enough out yet. You may still be anovulatory or you may have violated later than you think.

This (for making me laugh but also for truth). I've been off BC since Sept. and was having very regular periods and regular ovulations...this month ovulated WAY later (CD 16 instead of usually around CD11). There is a lot of truth to the saying that everything is regular, until it's not. I think assuming when you ovulate is generally not the best approach, though it sounds like you were lucky on try no. 1! Good luck.

The medical answer is generally 60 days - if you hit 60 days with no period and no positive HPT, see your dr. for the meds mentioned by PP above.

We're ready to start TTC'ing #2, so I last took a pill in late March. My cycles are normally 28 days long, and although I've never temped, based on when I got pregnant with #1, I assume I ovulate around day 14.

Anyway, I should have gotten my period a week ago, but nothing. HPTs were negative, so I don't think I'm pregnant. How long should I wait for my period to come before calling the doctor? Is there even anything they can do other than wait for the pill to leave my system enough to give me a period?

When we were TTC #1, my period came 3.5 weeks after I stopped taking the pill, like clockwork, so this is new to me.

Thanks!
