BM Lemon Ice: have it in a darker bedroom, pale warm lemon yellow. Brightens nicely with lights.

We've used Linen White in our house on the walls. It's currently our trim color. Linen white is a little grey/dirty to brighten a basement in my opinion. I agree with the PP who suggested a creamy yellow. For that, consider BM Milky Way.

I had it though out my house on move in and couldn't stand it. It looked too yellow and had no personality; washed out. I have no idea why it's so popular. Doesn't go nicely with a lot of the trim colors either (makes them look gray).

I replaced it with colors.

I would stick with a butter yellow or something slightly cooler like a moss.

We used it on the trim in one of our rooms where I wanted something creamier than bright white. I think it will make a small, dark basement look cold, not much different that white would.

Try BM gray mist. Or acadia white.

We don't have it but upon googling it, it looks really basic and boring. Go with a greige color

We have it. It is the most boring color possible. I guess its bright, but I wouldn't call it warm. It's rental apartment white.

Damn. Say it ain't so. This search for a color has been exhaustive -- we've already sampled so many.

What would you have gone with instead?

I'd go with a creamy pale yellow. I think somehow it makes the dark spaces look better than white does.

I think we have finally settled on a color for our small, dark basement. I think this color will greatly brighten up the space while still adding warmth.

If you used this color, were you happy with it?
