Don't use a darker shade of blue or gray == very hard to paint over.

Something relatively easy to paint over. I get wanting neutrals for staging, but our house's prior owners chose a wretched beige that is REALLY difficult to cover.

We're planning to repaint our living room/dining room before putting our house on the market. What would be a good, warm neutral color? We would want a warm color to go with the tones in our wood floors and the rest of the house--most of the greys I've seen wouldn't work even though they're popular. Thanks!
