If you don't receive a notification before the Kindergarten orientation for your neighborhood school -- you should just have your child attend the orientation just in case.

For some reason I seem to recall May 6th being a date - but I don't actually know!

I know we're supposed to find out about the various immersion lotteries in the next few weeks, but does anyone who applied last year remember when you received notification? Was it in April, or not until sometime in May? Our local school has orientation the first week in May, but DS will be going somewhere else if he gets into one of the two immersion programs we're hoping to get into. Should he go to the regular K orientation at the local school?
