Thanks for posting this, I had read the below article earlier in the week and still couldn't figure out why they changed this scene for television in this way. Even though I have read the books it is tough to remember all the timelines!!

What? I know about the incest rape, but did any of the parents violated their kid's dead body (sexually I mean)?

well, i'm counting the proximity as necrophilia. call it a fictional license in keeping with the source material.

The violence/sex doesn't tone down at all but the story line us so good I deal with it. By far, my favorite show on TV. I wish the season lasted longer.

I thought the twincest rape was positively relaxing compared to the Ramsay Bolton torture scenes and sausage metaphors.

Actually, I think the grossest things have already happened IIRC the books.

I fast forward through the scenes (or mute and close my eyes if watching live). Still worth the viewing. Great show that only gets better!!!

I'm trying to get into it via in demand, but it seems excessively gruesome. Does it get better as the plot evolves or is it always cringe-worthy? I'm not even that sensitive and I had trouble with it! But, I know people love it!
