Same here! I am a huge AMC fan because they took chances on amazing shows that no one else would pick up. Some of the best shows on television, in fact. They need a hit because Breaking Bad ended and Mad Men will end next year. I hope Halt and Catch Fire is good. I think it starts in a couple months.

I am, but I am disappointed, too. Love historical stuff but the characters are either cartoonish or wooden, and the accents are just awful.
I love the Virginia locations for shooting. Not at all New Englandy for houses, but fun to see.

I also really wanted to enjoy it, but am finding it a little boring. I'm having trouble keeping all the British soldiers straight and I'm not sure if it's because the show is clear or because I'm zoning out

My feeling right now is "Eh." No one is charismatic. No one.

I like it, but am not in love with it like I thought I would be. I'll give it a season.

I really wanted to love this show, but for some reason it is not an enjoyable show.

I sort of agree with you. Especially on predictable.

Is anyone watching? I had high hopes but was not hooked in by episodes 1 and 2. I love historical pieces, esp from that time period, and I love espionage stories ... so this should be right up my alley, but ... it just feels predictable, not very well written or acted, and not engaging. What are your thoughts?
