I started consuming almond milk and soy milk after turning in to a vegan. I use Silk brand available in Costco. I like drinking both milks when they are chilled. I don't like smoothie or other stuff that they say you can make with it.

I like flax milk the best.

I prefer the Blue Diamond brand of almond milk the most.

I really wanted to like almond milk. Maybe it's the brand I buy or something, because it's gross. I've switched back to lactaid. I've had soy milk in the past, which wasn't too bad.

I've been dairy free for almost 3 years. Cheese is by far the hardest thing. The best substitutes I've found are nut based - specifically Kite Hill's White Alder (found at Whole Foods - not all of them carry it though. I found it at the Rockville store). Also Treeline Cheese's cracked pepper hard cheese is so good on crackers with wine! And Treeline Cheese's garlic and herb soft cheese is a good cream cheese substitute.

I like almond milk. I'm not completely religious about it, I still consume small amounts of cow's milk in things like waffles that we are making for the whole family every once in a while (like once a month), but routine or large amounts give me an upset stomach.

I prefer almond milk over soy, the latter is too sweet for me. The hardest part is giving up all the yummy cheeses - I find that harder than ice cream! And not as many substitutes available, soy cheese just isn't the same. Other than that, I haven't found it very hard at all.

Anybody made the switch ? & if so what milk do you currently use now?

I made the switch to almond milk over a year ago just because I wanted to get away from all the hormones in cows milk.feel 10x more better(I must say I have had cows milk maybe 5-6 times in past year when I didn't have almond milk around but its definitely not a first option for me)
