The newsletter that comes with your quarterly water bill also mentioned this temporary switch. Ours just started smelling strongly in the last day or so, especially in the bathrooms. Maybe it's because those taps aren't used as frequently.

I've noticed a stronger smell.

We use a countertop Brita filter for drinking water. It works well enough.

Anyone know if Fairfax has upped the chlorine in the water supply recently? Seems like the bleach smell/taste is stronger in the last few days. I generally use tap water for myself and give LO nursery water to drink, but now I'm hesitant to drink tap as it tastes awful. Thinking about a whole house water filter- it's that bad.
