I just had a few companies out in the past two days. I picked TBI Lawn Care. They were by far the least expensive, got great reviews on Angie's List and they are environmental conscious but it's unclear to me if they have an organic package.

I use these folks, in conjunction with a regular lawn company that mows/aerates, etc.

I think it's our third year using them, and we've gotten compliments from our neighbors on how good our lawn looks. They always leave written instructions on what to do after treatment (water, stay off for 24 hours, etc.) And I have to admit that I rarely follow lawn directions. I almost never water my lawn.

OP here. Thanks. I realize it will take several years. It's been 10 so far with us doing it by ourselves and it's not working. So we need to move on. Really, I see chemlawn in the neighborhood, but I will be looking for others. My DH heard about lawn doctor. I know nothing about them, so I'm doing my searching now.

they are al the same and most of them have a "natural" option but it is al the same stuff.

have you been taking care of the lawn on a regualr basis or jsut every so often? It takes constant work not jsut throw this down now and wait.

know what to do each season and be patient.

OP here. Not like we should. We have a friend who owns a lawn mowing svs doing the lawn. He mows it but otherwise does a lousy job at lawn care. DH is not handy and it's been up to me. I weed, I seed I do what is supposed to be done each season. Obviously I'm not doing it right. I need help and the lawn looks like crap honestly.

Our lawn needs help and lots of it. Neighbor uses chemlawn. I would rather go with a company that uses organic/safe materials. Any recommendations?
