Huh? You say you have 15K of debt your husband doesn't know about. That is over half of your overall debt. How does he know about most of it and how is most of it his fault?

You need to cut up ALL of your cards. And get yourself some free therapy. You have a shopping addiction. Why does someone who only makes 32K a year buy so much stuff?

First, put them away. Put cash in your wallet and if you have no cash, you can't buy it. Period.

Then pay off the one with the highest interest rate first while making the minimum in the others.

So you can put your entire salary to pay off your debt? That's great, but won't your DH wonder where your salary went?

Is there a reason why you can't tell your spouse? I lost my job when DH and I were dating and had not saved enough to pay rent/pay down my credit cards so my debts quickly piled up. Hid it from boyfriend (now DH) at the time but when we got engaged I felt like he deserved to know. He was incredibly supportive and helped me make a plan.

You might feel less overwhelmed if you don't feel like you're hiding this. Won't your husband find out at some point?

thanks for the advice. Just looked at all, highest % has lowest balance. I will start with that one and knock this out. I can't wait to lay in bed at night and not feel that over whelming feeling of doom because of debt!!

start by paying off highest interest rate first with minimum on the rest. once 1st paid off repeat with remaining 3.

Is there any way you can refinance to get lower rates on each card?

Read as 3 cards, not two. Pay off highest interest first

Make minimum payments on 2. Make biggest payment you can afford on the highest interest one. Once that's paid off, move to 2nd highest.

I owe about 28000 in debt, 15K which my spouse has no idea. It is in my name. I have to get out of this. I just need a plan. 2 major cc, one home depot, one other department store. owe 12k, 15k 1500 and 6 I make about 32K a year, and can use the entire amount of this debt. Plan please anyone!! should I pay off one aggressively at a time or spread it out. I feel like I am not getting anywhere even though I make extra payments!! I HATE how I feel right now. and never ever want to go down this road again!
