I would be proud of any kid with any education who found something that supported his/her lifestyle and made him/her happy, regardless of the kid's educational background.

My boyfriend is a mechanic. Obviously he didn't go to MIT, but I do love his job in that he can always take my car in just to get looked at and make sure nothing is wrong, do oil changes and other small stuff in the driveway really quickly, and I know I'm not getting ripped off when I do pay for repairs! Also, discounts at Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone. The dirty hot mechanic thing when he comes home from work ain't too bad either

I would. A good mechanic is hard to find, and they can make really good money. I'd love to have a mechanic in the family - I'd save a ton on car repairs.
