Isn't engineered flooring just plywood with a veneer? Sure, the veneer is hardwood, but besides that, it doesn't seem that different.

rather than try to make plywood look like something it isn't, why not paint the floors and polyurethane them. You could do it yourself.

I'm not sure about that. That's concrete disguised as brick; this is actual wood, just a different type quality/type of wood than what is normally used for flooring, but ripped, sanded and stained to be indistinguishable.

Looks about the same as poured concrete driveways that are colored and textured to look like brick.

Is it durable though. Heavy furniture, impact from drops etc?
