Mules are in again this season, so go ahead and wear them. The nineties are back.

I think clogs are never out of style.

just wondering -- i have some 2 1/2 to 3 inch black and brown leather mules/clogs from Born and BOC/Born that I wear with jeans. They almost look like boots (since with longish jeans you can't see that they don't have a back).

i tend to wear them as an alternative to my ankle boots (the clog heels are taller than my boot heels).

is that too dated?

I live in mine. If they are out of style, I don't care.

I wear mules often and they are much more comfy for me than closed toe shoes.

I vote to use them only for slipping on fast to walk the dog, or take out the trash.

High-heels are 4 inches or more.

Mules with a small heel are not very elegant, but if you wear them in a casual setting it's fine.

I'm 52. I just don't want to look like I'm wearing terribly out of style shoes.

I'm 25 and personally wouldn't wear them but my mother (who's 51) owns a pair in black and a pair in brown that works with a lot of her outfits.

Depends on the age range I guess. I'm 28 and consider them to be out of style. My mom is in her 60s and I'm sure finds them comfortable and stylish.

I have some older backless mules that have a heel about an inch or so high. Are backless mules out of style?
