I'll buy the kids toy-stocked Easter baskets, then take them to a community egg hunt. After that, I may buy a few extras, but there's no need to supercharge them with sugar.

This year I am doing something different. I will have a little bit of candy, but I am going to include cake mix and frosting with sprinkles so that she can bake. I will also include a couple of gift cards to her favorite stores and a pair of flip-flops. She is a little older so I hope she likes it.

We do regular snacks - bigger snack packs of Oreos and Cheetos for example. These are a bigger hit than chocolate.

I always buy the special chocolate bunnies from Harbor Sweets online. It's like lots of different candy bars in one bunny - almonds in the ears, caramel in the body, nut butter crunch in the feet, or something like that. I can't remember the exact placements in the "body," but that bunny is delicious!

Buy Japanese candy via Amazon.com. Lots of interesting flavors and shapes. Even if they don't love any of it, it'll be fun to try.

My children don't like any of the usual things. I need ideas!
