The milk is made from soaking the nuts, adding water and blending them, then straining the mixture. Because you are t getting the "flesh" of the nuts, you don't get the benefit of all of the protein. If you can make your own almond milk, you can keep it "chunky" and keep some of the protein in it.

They all are like that but I don't know why.

We use the So Delicious brand. They make a 5x Protein Vanilla Almond milk. Our DC who is allergic to soy and dairy drinks it.

Almonds are rich in protein but 1 cup Silk Almond milk has only 1% protein. Do they not use enough almonds?
