I don't know about quiet, but I still like Rockbottom Brewery in Bethesda. Great beer and decent burgers.

Medium Rare does not have burger only steak frites. Palena has top notch burgers. Also, Blacks in Bethesda is very good.

My expat BIL is in town for a few days and wants to go out tonight for a burger and brew, someplace casual where we can catch up. So, where do we go that's a step up from BGR, but where it'll be quiet enough to talk?
