I find "weird" to be frequently funny.

But then again I've never found Jay Leno funny, and have never understood his popularity for the under 70 age group. I feel like his entire career has been one, painfully long "why did the chicken cross the road" joke.

+1

Leno was kind of embarrassing to watch.

Great? Greatly over-rated. Also weird and not funny.

He's a comic genius with a flair for acting and an appreciation of musical variety. Have you even seen his repertoire before and beyond the Report? He's going to be great.

I'm assuming he'll be himself and not the character he plays on the Report but in any case, I don't think it will be as funny. Most of these late night shows aren't.

What is the appeal of hosting the late-night shows in this day? He seems to have more freedom at Comedy Central that I don't think he'll have at CBS. Will he completely revolutionize the Late Night Talk Show?

I feel like it's a step down for him. He will be missed!

I'm bummed too! He does such an amazing job of exposing conservative hypocrisy... Now he'll be reduced to laughing at Taylor Swift's "jokes"...

Me, too! He's able to do stuff on the Colbert Report that I doubt he'll be able to get away with in this new venue.

I'd actually have preferred Jon Stewart, as he was already less extreme in his satire, while still being very funny and a good interviewer.
