The best lamb I have bought is from a halal butcher. I would go with the Lebanese Butcher or Halal Meat Market recommendations.

I have several friends who swear by the Lebanese butcher next to Ya Hala restaurant in Vienna (Sorry, I can't remember the name, but it's just next door to the restaurant in a little strip mall).

Anybody know of a good place to get lamb in the DC or Maryland? Something that is lamb, and not mutton, preferably fresh, not frozen.
