Op here. I'm a nurse so I was at work and when I checked my phone on my break and saw that she had called. I called back because I thought she wanted to know something hospital related. She worked the night shift last night and I was on day shift. Another coworker said that "Larla" is a busybody.

Nah, she should have used that info against her coworker by telling her boss that the coworker was at Target in the middle of the day. What was she doing there instead of working at the office? I wonder if she does it often? Is she including her personal errands as part of her time entries? Then spread that around the office. Teach her to keep shit to herself.

Someone who has too much time on their hands, in spite of the fact that they should very well be minding their own.

Busybody ALWAYS claim they are busy, and often act overwhelmed, to try to detract from their busybodiness and sneakiness. You are to think they are too busy to try to mind others business. They are often inappropriate and lack boundaries. They will take as much as you are willing to give them. They usually lack class (independent of money - but they usually lack that too).

They are not usually very accurate, if at all. Often times, they resort to making up stories so that what they are saying will sound more enticing.

Noticing something one time only is not being a busy body. Asking questions about it could be construed about being a busy body. Noticing a neighbors comings and goings (consequently, not noticing break ins of that property) is definitely being a busybody.

No one likes a busy body.
