OP here. I also work in IT project management. This sounds like a dream job! Curious how you found it.


I spent 10 yrs with the company as a consultant prior. After my first I realized that I could no longer handle the crazy hours and travel so I talked to my boss. My resource manager found me this position.

I'm a Sr manager at a large IT consulting company. Our entry level is around $65k, took me 12 years to hit $150+bonus.

PP again--- I make $180. I love my job because of the flexibility, the people I work with, the opportunity to work on leading edge projects that keep me marketable, and the overall benefits my company offers beyond my salary.

NP here. I think it's a reasonable question. Most people make a tradeoff between salary and enjoyment of what they do. If there are any people who have their dream job that they are completely enamored with, but it's still well over six figures--I want to know! I know very few people like this.

What do you do and why do you love it? I'm sure it's too late for a major career change for me but I'm very unhappy in my job and trying to figure out my next move. I want to hear from people who realty enjoy their work!!!!
