WSJ had an article recently about the markup on luxury sheets. I think it was something like $15 in materials, $50 in manufacturing/shipping, and $500 in markups.

I bought my frette duvet at Marshall's! Do not dry it completely then hang to dry or lay it smoothed out over the sofa.

I pull my duvet covers still a tiny bit damp and lay on bed before putting the duvet in. Gets a little less wrinkly that way.

Get a good steamer. My new steamer really can take all the wrinkles out of my sheets and duvet. You put the duvet on the bed and then steam it there. So it never touches the floor.

You have to be kidding. Not only are you ironing the duvet cover but you are constructing scaffolding to keep it from touching the floor? CAn you lay a sheet down under the ironing board?

I have this beautiful Frette duvet cover - which comes out of the dryer looking like crap. I don't have the time or patience to iron it. DH has done it but he doesn't have time these days either.

Question: if you iron sheets/duvet covers, how do you do it without it being all over the floor. I've tried using chairs/the sofa.

Will a dry cleaner do this? I don't want to pay a ton for it.
