OP here. Definitely NOT his daughter. The man and woman are around the same age, their arms around each other! This really caught me off guard. The man looks nothing like the guy in the first picture. Actually, the first photo looked like a posed model. Why would someone play stupid games like that?

That's a weird way to do it - you can ask the " open marriage" folks on explicit if that's a common way to proposition someone.

It's online dating, anything is possible! You sound a little to trusting of online dating. I've been on & off online dating for 2 years, my advice to you is always keep your guard up-be very cautious! And if you ever get to the point of actually meeting someone from one of the sights, be careful!!! I always let one friend know where I'm going, what time, the guys name & cell number and text her when I'm home. You can't be too careful at first. Thank goodness, I've always met nice men who were legit.

I am the OP from the previous thread about match.com etiquette.

I have been using the dating site, Ok cupid for about a week now, perhaps a bit longer. I have gotten tons of emails and likes and have written a few emails myself. Today I got an email from OK cupid saying someone was really interested in me. He must have rated me 5 stars for me to receive that email. I looked at his profile (on my phone) and thought he was really cute but did not have time to reply. Later on tonight I logged onto the site on my computer and reviewed his profile. I gave him five stars as well and logged off. A few hours later I got an email from this guy directly saying "It's a Match" and his photo had been changed from the one I previously viewed to a photo of a much older guy AND a girl! What happened? Why would someone do something like that? Are they just playing me? I am in shock right now! Tell me this is NOT common!
