+2. Yuengling is my favorite for simple things like this. I love craft beers but you don't know what people like and they're a little fussy for the occasion.

Don't do this. You will end up with 24 shitty beers.

Sam Adams Lager has a wide range of appeal.

Fat Tire is one of the trendy ones more widely available in this area now. If you can get to Costco, they have sampler cases that have three or four different beers in them. I just got an Irish sampler with one six pack each of Guinness, Smithwick, and Harp. There's also a Costco microbrew sampler case that is Costco branded. I've not tried it but would assume all the options included are a step above the ones listed above in the first response. All those are basically the same variation of water posing as beer.

I think pale ale goes well with pizza, so I'd get a six pack of DC Brau's Public (or another pale ale-- Sierra Nevada, Dale's, Burning River etc.) and a six pack of Sam Adam light (because someone might want light, and that's probably the best one).

IMO, a few good breweries where you'll probably won't go wrong are DC Brau, Dogfish Head, Bells, Great Lakes, Goose Island.

How many people? I would get one wheat beer, a lager, and maybe an IPA for variety. If you've got a liquor store near you ask for help.

Having some preschool parents over tomorrow for pizza. I don't drink beer. Any suggestions of what kind to buy? Thank you.
