Make sure the ground is workable. We have clay soil here which can be difficult to work when it is cold.

Pansies and perennials are fine, as are all shrubs and trees. First week of may for anything not frost tolerant.

You can plant pansies now. Warm weather plants Re best done towards the end of April or early May. We have not crossed the last frost date yet.
