I'm wondering about Clark ES formerly at an EL Haynes site. Did it close due to low enrollment? Anyone know why or any other information?

Clark used to be at the property that is now EL Haynes on Kansas Ave. I have lived a block away for 13 years. Clark was under enrolled and is two and a half blocks from Barnard which got a new building about a decade ago. The Clark building was/is hideous and old. Haynes moved in and added their cool addition, moved the playground and made the campus look tons better. I still wish they'd paint the brick on the old building to make it look better with the new addition. I'm just glad it Clark never became a DMV which they flirted with for a few months.

What was the deal with Clark ES? Why did it close?
