My developmentally delayed son used his words today in school instead of throwing a tantrum or hitting. According to the teacher he asked another child to stop because it would make him upset and angry if he continued. And then the boy stopped and the children continued to play.

I'm doing the happy dance. Yes, I know. It's just one day. But one day is 100% better than no days!!!!! I want to scream his success from the rooftops. I could not be more proud of him.
